Adjusted Social Distancing in Korea April 18th

As the daily caseloads continue to fall in Korea, the government has adjusted social distancing measures, moving the country closer to a new “normal.” Almost all social distancing protocols and limitations on operating hours, private gatherings, events and other activities (such as religious services) have been lifted. Certain limitations remain on eating indoors at facilities other than restaurants and cafes until April 25th.

While the government is currently discussing lifting the outdoor mask-wearing mandate, at present Korea’s requirement to wear masks both indoors and outdoors still applies. Also, quarantine measurements are still in force for specified categories of high-risk facilities to maintain protection for high-risk groups.
