In Korea, the new variant surge of COVID19 has caused cases to escalate again with a 7-day average of over 70,000 and reaching a daily rate of over 100,000 new cases on the 27th of July, 2022. While the mask mandates are still active for indoor spaces, the outdoor mask requirement has now been lifted. Nonetheless, many people can still be observed preferring to wear masks outdoors, particularly in crowded urban areas.

To travel to Korea there are still ongoing protocols to follow such as Q-Code, negative PCR test result tested within 48 hours, Incheon airport PCR test reservation, and a K-ETA. For more information regarding the requirements and protocol please review the attached PDF file.
